La Estrella is a vibrant coffee from Jinotega, Nicaragua, grown at 1,250–1,450 meters above sea level. Expect a lively cup with layered fruit sweetness and a smooth caramel finish.
This lot originates from a group of smallholder farmers who deliver their harvest to Beneficio La Estrella, a mill established in 2016 that prioritizes quality and traceability. The farmers primarily cultivate Caturra and Catuaí varietals, which are grown under shade to protect biodiversity and encourage slow cherry development.
At the mill, cherries are washed, fermented for 12–16 hours, then dried carefully on raised beds and patios. La Estrella’s commitment to sustainable practices and direct support for producers ensures consistency and long-term community impact.
