It is VERY smooth and the chocolate shines through. If I drank it without knowing anything about the coffee, I would have thought it included, or was exclusively, beans grown in Indonesia (Sumatra is one of my favorite single origins, BTW). The body is pronounced and is a little heavier than medium. The roast level is perfect for these beans.

I am loving this cofffee so far as well as the amazing experience I’ve had ordering. I placed my order on 3/16. It was roasted and shipped on 3/17 and I received it yesterday 3/18. This coffee is amazing! It is a bolder roast than what I was brewing from a different company. I have an espresso machine, but I can’t wait to try this coffee a variety of other ways. It produces a delicious aroma (true to the tasting notes) and beautiful crema. It was a gamble buying a 2 lb bag of coffee I’d never tried before, but I definitely made the right choice!
Edited to add: This coffee stands up excellently to milk based drinks both hot and cold!

Freshly Roasted, but a little burnt for my taste.
Smells great, but ive tried to change the grinding but still comes out tasting burnt.
