About the Coffee: Meet Monteblanco Passion Fruit, one of the wildest coffees we’ve ever roasted. Grown at 1,900–2,000 m in Huila, Colombia, this rare Purple Caturra varietal gets a fruit-fueled boost: Rodrigo’s team feeds their yeast “mother culture” fresh passionfruit, cholupa, and panela before pairing it with pulped cherries. The result? A coffee with notes of vibrant pineapple, passionfruit, and floral sweetness you can smell straight through the mailer.

This is my 2nd bag of coffee purchased from portrait, after having discovered them in Atlanta (coming from Asheville) a couple months back. I am in love. My first bag was Triple Double which tastes unbelievable…like tart, rich, pleasantly acidic strawberry 🍓 juice. And now the Colombia Passionfruit is all about the melon and passionfruit. Totally incredible. Hooked. Buy some!

Fruity with a full body
This is one of the best coffees I've ever had. My preferred prep is a V60, where the sourness and lightness (hence passion fruit notes) come together with the rounder, softer, fuller taste (hence guava and melon notes). The profile is well balanced. I seriously doubted writing a review as I am afraid you will now buy this and there will be less for me. However, I wish everyone to try this one out.
