Colombia, Marlon's Aji Bourbon
Tropical, Creamy, Floral
A washed Bourbon Aji microlot from Marlon Bolaños of Three Coffee Farmers in Acevedo, Huila — pineapple and mandarin sweetness over a creamy body, with a floral finish that lingers.
Marlon grew up in coffee but found his own way into it at 17, through a barismo course that turned curiosity into commitment. With his two brothers he's building Three Coffee Farmers into a specialty hub for Acevedo, planting differentiated varieties and refining fermentation lot by lot. This one is his cleanest expression yet: cherries floated and hand-sorted, depulped into open tanks for a 12-hour light-oxidation ferment, washed, then sun-dried 10–15 days on raised beds. The process is built to let the Bourbon Aji variety speak for itself.
