Hey Mama is a Mother's Day capsule made in partnership with our friends at The Press Shop. A Portrait diner mug paired with a hand-letterpress card, designed to travel together as a way of seeing the women in our lives fully, not only for the roles they play but for the whole of who they are.

bell hooks reminded us that thinking of a woman as "'cause that's what mothers or real women do" denies her full humanity and misses the generosity in the act itself. Hey Mama is our way of slowing down long enough to say otherwise.

Pour her a cup. Write her a note. Let the morning hold a little more than it usually does.
