Has a noticeable bitterness even thought it’s a medium-light roast and not much flavor. I noticed it’s a lot easier to extract than other beans so it might help to adjust the grind settings to be coarser. :)

Best decaf I’ve had (and I’ve had a lot of specialty decaf!)
I’ve been slowly making the push towards mostly decaf coffees and making half caff coffee blends and this bean stands alone as one of the most flavorful and delicious decaf beans I’ve had for both pourover and espresso. It’s more delicate than full caff beans and you have to experiment to get the extraction of the flavors right but wow it’s great! Pairs so well in an oat milk cappuccino.

Best Decaf!
I've been drinking decaf for nearly a decade, and this one's my favorite. I'm not great about identifying the "subtle hints of..." flavors - but with Portrait's Colombia Sugarcane Decaf, I really do get an ever-so-subtle hint of something that makes it one of the delights of my day. You know how sometimes you're sipping your regular cup of coffee (I drink mine with a splash of half and half) and you stop and think, "This is SO good"? Well, yeah, that happens to me all the time with this coffee. Thanks, Portrait, for pouring a new narrative and for helping me pour a great cup of coffee ... every day.
